The "Website" is subject to the following terms and all applicable laws. By accessing and browsing the Website, calling the number on the site and/or ordering a product, or paying an invoice through our affiliate PayPal you accept the following terms without limitation or qualification, as well as such additional or amended terms and conditions as Haywire may from time to time publish. Certain services or other offerings made available on the Website may have additional terms and conditions that apply, and which can be viewed either on the pages containing such services or offerings, or via a link on those pages or other directions to the additional terms and conditions. Doing business via this website constitutes a legal and binding agreement and when an invoice is paid it signifies you have read and agree to all terms and condition on this page. Therefore please read this page before paying any invoice to Haywire Custom Guitars. Our Custom products may be returned within 30 days if no specific work was requested, for example: a "used custom instrument" we have for sale requiring no specific changes purchased in "as-is" condition. Returned products must be returned in the exact same condition as shipped. Return shipping & insurance is always paid for by the buyer. Custom ordered products with specific build, part or special order requests may not be returned. If there is damage in shipping-please us provide proof or "claim for damage" report filed by you. If a report is not filed by you that will be taken to mean the product was received by you in undamaged condition. If there is damage return immediately to us without delay for credit. If an undamaged non-custom item is returned within the 30 day return period it must be free of damage when we receive it back to obtain a full refund. If it is damaged, then we will determine if a refund is forthcoming and amount of refund according to the damage assessment. At our option we may issue a credit to be used toward purchase of any other product on the Haywire Custom Guitars website. If items are returned with parts missing, parts substituted for original parts, or guitar product is returned in pieces we will then determine the amount to be refunded and issue a refund or credit at our option. Shipping is non-refundable. A 15% restocking fee may apply. If these terms are not acceptable then do not: buy from this site or make a phone or email purchase from us. Haywire Custom Guitars is a unique Custom Shop of craftsman where we modify guitars from many manufacturers. We alter instruments to individual or personal specifications and offer the resulting upgraded instruments for sale. We are not a Gibson, Epiphone, Washburn, Wilkinson, Parker, Carvin, BC Rich USA, Jackson, PRS, Ernie Ball, Warmoth or Fender dealer nor are we affiliated with any of these companies. We do however buy used guitars from various manufacturers, new and used instruments from private individuals that we re-build, re-shape, re-sand, re-finish, re-top and customize ourselves for customers upon request. We upgrade electronics, necks, hardware and finishes and offer the finished products for sale. While there are no manufacturer warranties on the instruments we sell. We do however offer our own warranty for one year on our hand crafted finished products and craftsmanship on our finishing, customization and 8 point "Gig Ready" Haywire set-up processes. Fender, Stratocaster, Telecaster and Gibson, Les Paul, Buzz Feiten and related marks are trademarks of Fender Musical Instruments, Gibson, Buzz Feiten respectively and/or their affiliates. All other trademarks or registered trademarks referenced in this site are the property of their respective owners. Products offered via the Website and through our shop are subject to our terms here on Haywire Custom Guitars Inc. website, and are protected by a variety of patents and trademarks as well as trade secrets. The guitars we specialize in rebuilding, changing, refurbishing and setting up are instruments with replaceable necks and bodies because we have more requests to add, change and modify these instruments. We do offer set neck guitar modifications as well. We do not build Fender or Gibson guitars we simply add value to them in our "8 Point Gig Ready Process" or other modifications requested by our customers from time to time. We do however, replace and upgrade parts as required for overall improvement in design and playability. We buy guitars from ALL manufacturers used and new and alter and modify them. As noted above several examples include but are not limited to: Gibson, PRS, Jackson, Bigsby®, G&L, The Bigsby® mark and Bigsby tailpiece designs are registered trademarks of Fred W. Gretsch Enterprises, Ltd. and many other brands as noted above and alter these and re-sell them as refurbished instruments. We change necks from one guitar to another to find the best combination. We buy guitars that are distressed and bring them back to a playable state and offer the resulting instrument for sale. We do not and will not copy or build knock-off products of other companies. We do not do anything that would dilute the brand of these manufacturers. The guitars simply leave circulation for a while for upgrading, neck straightening fret leveling and/or replacement, neck replacement, pick up replacement, refinishing, hardware replacement , a set up then re-enter circulation as a better and renewed instrument. We re-furbish, replace, renew, refinish and otherwise repair the guitars we purchase from manufacturers or private individuals for repair and/or restoration by adding new bodies and necks etc.we then determine prices according to labor and parts added. The instruments value is then set by us. We do this through two methods: 1) A contract between Haywire Custom Guitars Inc. and the customer that includes in detail what modifications are to be performed and cost for the modifications and the base price on this website. 2) Modifications we choose to do then offer the resulting guitar for sale at a price/value that we determine. Guitars purchased from Haywire and customized for a particular customer are not eligible for a refund because our labor is worth something-therefore be sure of the modifications that you want before you buy them please. If we add a serial number, the serial numbers added shall not be confused nor correlate in any way with the original manufacturers numbers. They do however simply indicate only that these particular guitars have been through our shop and were renewed and customized by our Haywire Custom Shop Inc techs. They are not permanent numbers and in no way relate to the original manufacturers numbers used to identify their products. In this way, we can identify our workmanship and honor the one year warranty on our work performed by the Haywire Custom Shop. We do no manufacturing. The products listed simply display the particular modification and typical cost on the guitar model displayed. We are selling our set up skills, modification skills, our ability to identify which parts make the best fit, sound, feel and action set-ups, finishing skills, restoration skills, electronic modification skills and custom service requests from individuals whom have their own guitars they need modified for comfort, sound or play-ability. The photos on The Haywire Custom Guitars site are taken by us and are all brands of guitars that have passed through the Haywire Custom shop at one time or another for service and/or modification as requested by the original owner or as determined to be necessary to bring the instrument up to an extremely comfortable and playable state as well as intoned as necessary.

We realize that consumers are concerned about how the information they provide online will be used. Please read our Privacy Policy for more details. We reserve the right to use emails sent to us. We post from time to time emails from customers on our website about how they feel about their new guitars. In some cases where competitors post up false reviews we can and will use these emails as evidence of the competitors spreading misinformation to unsuspecting consumers. Please be aware-false reviews posted by any to promote agendas will not be tolerated and they will be exposed.

Intended for Users Over 13

The Website is intended for use by individuals of at least 13 years of age or older. The Website is not directed for use by children under the age of 13. Users under the age of 13 must get the assistance of a parent or guardian to use the Website. Haywire Custom Guitars does provide products for children, but it sells them to adults only, who may purchase with a credit card.

Features, specifications and prices of products and/or services described or depicted on the Website are subject to change at any time without notice. Weights and measures are approximate. Other product and service limitations and disclaimers may apply.

All prices shown on the Website are applicable solely for purchase by Users directly from Haywire Custom Guitars through the Website.

Special product or service offerings and promotions may be displayed from time to time on the Website and are considered discontinued and no longer valid once they are removed from the Website and/or as soon as the published expiration date for the offer/promotion expires. All offerings and promotions displayed on the Website are subject to change or cancellation at any time without notice.

Product Availability

The Website refers to products and/or services that are generally available for purchase in the 48 continental United States, Alaska, and Hawaii, though Haywire Custom Guitars cannot guarantee the availability of a product at any given time. This is why we have provisions for Custom Orders. The reference to any products or services in this Website does not warrant or imply that these products or services will be available at any time in your particular locality. Haywire Custom Guitars cannot guarantee specific dates when the products offered on this Website will be available and/or received by customers. Generally 6-8 weeks to build a custom guitar is not unusual and about average. If changes are requested then it could take longer. Try and make any changes before the build begins so as to keep the delivery time schedule short. We will do our best to keep in communication with our customers regarding their purchases as we have a full YEAR warranty on our workmanship but most of all, we want them to be happy! We want our customers to see and feel that they have derived a generous value for their hard earned cash.

Product Display/Colors

The Website attempts to display product images shown on the Website as accurately as possible. However, Haywire Custom Guitars cannot guarantee that the image or color you see displayed on your monitor represents the actual product or conforms to the specifications of the product you have selected. If you have any questions about product appearance/specifications, please contact us before placing your order. The Website does not contain images of each offered item because some of them are Custom and not built and/or modified yet.

Sales Tax Policy

Sales tax may or may not be added to each order, subject to federal, state, and local tax laws. We will do our best to accurately calculate sales tax, but errors may occur due to the large number of tax districts or other reasons.

Order Acceptance/Confirmation

Your receipt of an electronic or other form of order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute

confirmation of our offer to sell. The Website reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your order for any reason. You will normally not be charged if we reject an order, but we will process a refund if the charge has been made against you in error. Any large orders will be subject to a down payment commensurate with the amount.

Paying for Your Order

You may pay for your order by Master Card, Visa, or American Express credit card through PAY-PAL and/or other accepted methods such as: Money Order and Personal Check. The accepted methods of payment may change at Haywire Custom Guitars sole discretion. Orders for custom built products may not be canceled or returned.

Orders for custom products may not be canceled or returned.

Return Policy

In order to keep prices low on the Website, all sales are final. However, in the event that we ship you the wrong product(s) compared to the receipt of your original order, you may return the product(s). Returns will not be accepted without prior authorization and Haywire Custom Guitars issuance of a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number. All unauthorized returns of merchandise will be returned to sender and a credit will not be issued, unless otherwise specified in advance. If you have difficulty with your Haywire Custom Guitars purchase please contact and ask us to arrange a Return Authorization. All returns must be accompanied by a valid Return Authorization Number (RA#). You must contact us at the means below to receive an RA#. All returns that do not clearly display an RA# on the outside of the packaging will automatically be refused.To be eligible for return all items must be in 'like-new' condition. Items which show wear will not be eligible for a return.Product being returned must be packaged securely and with sufficient protection to avoid damage in transit. If, in our opinion, any product shows evidence of alteration, damage, misuse, improper handling or insufficient packaging, it will not be eligible for exchange, refund or warranty consideration.Custom work is not refundable. Custom work is defined as those extra-charge services which make your body or neck especially unique and difficult to resell. These include, but are not limited to: Original shipping charges, return shipping charges and any customs fees or duties are non-refundable.Custom orders that have been formally acknowledged by Haywire Custom Guitars, Inc. and then confirmed by the customer are not refundable for reasons other than material or workmanship defect.

Enforcement of Provisions

These Terms are governed and interpreted pursuant to the laws of the State of South Carolina, United States of America, without reference to its provisions concerning conflicts of law. Any and all dispute(s) concerning the validity or interpretation of these Terms, or performance hereunder, shall be brought exclusively in a court of competent jurisdiction located in the County of Horry, State of South Carolina, which shall constitute the exclusive venue for any such dispute(s). If any part of these Terms is unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that part will be deemed severable and will not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions. Haywire Custom Guitars may revise these Terms at any time by updating this posting.

Haywire Custom Guitars may terminate these Terms at any time, without notice and for any reason. You agree that if any part of these Terms are found to be unenforceable, the remainder of these Terms will remain in full force and effect.


All orders placed on this Website are shipped to your attention to the location you specify. If you want it shipped to your work address we will do that as well (using your name in the shipping label on the box) or at your employer’ ship-to location. This is to ensure that your employer is aware that you are making a purchase for your personal use and to ensure that you are still employed by the particular employer. If your employer will not accept our shipments, please contact us, and we will attempt to resolve the issue. All orders placed on this Website are subject to product availability and will be shipped as soon as possible after we contact you to let you know the approximate time frame of any Custom work or modification not in stock and completion of work. The risk of loss and title for ordered merchandise pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier. This means that product damaged in transit is the carrier’s responsibility and is an issue to be resolved between you and the carrier. Should a carrier not meet its delivery performance requirements, i.e., next day air before 10:30am, this is an issue to be resolved between you and the carrier.

Shipping & Handling Costs

Shipping and handling costs per order from the Website depend in part upon the products and shipping methods chosen, and please note that shipping and handling costs for many items are weight- and/or size-based. We try our best to use the most economical method for you. Should a return be necessary and a refund granted, shipping costs as with any purchase from anywhere requiring shipping (Shipping Options& Costs) cannot be refunded, please make a note of this and do not ask us to make an exception.

Delivery Schedules are ESTIMATES based upon UPS guidelines

UPS has a very high on time delivery record, but severe weather or other service interruptions could impact the delivery schedule. We cannot influence or control any shipping schedules once your order leaves our facility. We cannot offer any refunds for shipments which arrive late due to weather or other events deemed beyond the control of the carrier. Please plan your Order Date and Shipping Method accordingly.

We offer 3 Shipping Service Options:

Standard Delivery Service - Allow up to 5 Business Days, AFTER your order ships and Worldwide allow 9 days.

Expedited Delivery Service (3-Day) - Your order should arrive by End of Day, 3 Business Days AFTER your order ships.

Express Delivery Service (2-Day) - Your order should arrive by End of Day, 2 Business Days AFTER your order ships.

Questions about Shipping

The time it takes to receive your order is a combination of two elements: Processing Time and the Shipping Time. Processing Time is the time it takes us to select and pack your order for shipment—generally 1 to 2 days. Shipping Time is the time it takes the shipping company to take your order from our warehouse to your door. This time depends on where you live and which shipping method you choose. For guidance please refer to the chart below. Please note that processing and shipping times indicated below are Business Days and do not include weekends or holidays.
